Since 2021 SERIES OF GRANTS FOR FREE STUDYING is being launched at the initiative of the school management and with the support of the Swiss Embassy in Tashkent.
The goal is gratuitous assistance in the development and deepening of knowledge in the field of cinema and theater arts for the younger generation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
International Documentary Film Laboratory. The artistic directors are distinguished foreign filmmakers.
Requirements: Age — over 18 years old, experience in the chosen areas (film making, screenwriting or directing of photography).
Laboratory for graduates of the Feature Filmmaking and Screenwriting workshop, who have a certificate.
Requirements: Age — over 18 years old, a certificate of successful completion of the full course in the specified areas at school.
A special grant for persons who do not have an opportunity to attend classes on a good basis on the state of health (disability, rehabilitation period after surgery, epilepsy with frequent full-blown convulsive seizures, etc.). School management issuing grants for free studying in the screewriting workshop of Zulfikar Musakov.
Requirements: age – over 18 years old, a document confirming the state of health and the inability to attend full-time classes.
In the spring of 2021, at the initiative of CEO of the FOCUS film and theater school, a children’s grant acting studio was created.
Our Goals:
— Free assistance in the development of education in the field of cinema and theater for the younger generation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
— Assistance within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences.
— The resumption of work of the legendary theater-studio «LIK» by Elena Lopatko (more than 35 years of history).
